Studio Policies

General Fitness

 

Classes at Nova Heights can be physically strenuous. Some Pole & Aerial activities may be unsuitable for people who suffer from neck or back problems or unsuitable if pregnant. It is mandatory for all students to inform instructors of any medical conditions prior to partipating, as agreed when signing the registration form when signing up.

Age Policy

 

Nova Heights is currently open to anyone ages 16 or above unless stated otherwise.

Passes and bookings

​

  • Once you have signed up to our website, please check your emails to complete our registration form. All details are stored within GDPR guidance.

  • All fees are payable upon enrolment. Fees are non-refundable. Lessons & courses are non refundable or transferable.

  • Once your pass/ course has been activated we are unable to issue refunds or freeze/ extend the class. No exceptions.

  • By booking your class online, you are agreeing to our disclaimer which states you are able to partake in classes & have understood and agree to our policies.

  • Courses must be used within 4 weeks unless previously discussed with Lacey. Any missed classes will not be transferable/refundable.

CANCELLATION AND LATE POLICIES

All classes must be cancelled 24hours prior to the class time, any cancellations within 24hours to your class time are non-refundable.

Classes start on time. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure you are ready.

We have a catch up warmup list for anyone who arrives up to 4 minutes late.

After 4 minutes, we cannot allow you to join in the class. You will not be refunded or recredited for being late.

If the studio cancels the class due to lack of numbers or cover you will automatically receive the class added back to the pass, or if you have purchased a single session you can have a credit (which is valid for 1 week from the date of class cancellation) or a refund.

If your pass is due to expire and you will lose a class due to a Nova Heights cancellation, we will issue you a credit.

We cannot issue a refund or credit  due to change of instructor. Our refund policy above only applies to classes that are cancelled.

  • ​Here at Nova Heights, we are committed to encouraging equality and diversity amongst all team members and students alike, whilst seeking to extinguish any unlawful discrimination. As such, we promise to adhere to what is outlined in the equality act 2010 in relation to protected characteristics. 

  • Furthermore, we will not discriminate against any other associated characteristics and will take all steps to provide an environment where by all staff, teachers and students treat each other equally, fairly with respect.

  • Students at Nova Heights have an equal responsibility to follow the same policy, and to encourage others to do the same. Any behaviour that goes against this policy will be dealt with accordingly, with the potential to remove any member should they continue to fail to meet our policy requirements.

  • While employees at Nova Heights accept this responsibility, should any fail to meet what is required of our equality policy, please inform management and we will act accordingly.

Studio Rules

​

  • Students must book lessons online, prior to class starting.

  • By booking, you are agreeing to abide by studio rules and policies.

  • If you are unable to attend class, you must book prior to 24hrs of your class time.

  • Should you fail to cancel within this timeframe, your class slot will be gone.

  • Please do not consume alcohol or drugs prior to your class. If the instructor suspects you are under the influence, they will ask you to leave.

  • All students must follow our equality policy. Failure to so so will result in you being asked to leave.

  • No jewelry shall be worn when using our equipment.

  • Nova Neights have the right to refuse anyone who does not adhere to the policies set out above.

SAFETY POLICY

  • Pole dance & Fitness can be very physically strenuous. It is unsuitable for people who suffer from back or neck problems.

  • Some minor ailments such as occasional joint problems or old injuries may be able to be worked around, however it is mandatory that anything of relevance be clearly stated on arrival.

  • By booking your lesson, you are agreeing that you are aware of the possibility of bruising, falls or injury. That all exercises during class is done so at your own risk and that no liability can be taken for any accidents to oneself, any injuries/fractures or damage to any persons or property caused during lessons.

  • Accidents are to be reported and logged before you leave the lesson. Failure to follow instructions at Nova Heights may result in injury to oneself or another.​​​​​​

The above policies and are subject to change at the discretion of Nova Heights.

Always consult a doctor before undertaking a new form of exercise if you are on medication or have special requirements.​
